Command and General Staff Course – EPA-420
This (5) five-day course is designed to prepare the position proficient student to function effectively on regional incidents as a command and general staff member. Course topics include; team development and behavior, decision making methods, stress and decision making in the All Risk environment, team interaction, transfer of command, functional review, planning process, effective team processes, and other management considerations. This course will be designed to meet the training requirements of potential regional (Type II) incident management personnel who will be performing on Type II Incident Management Teams or Incident Management Assist Teams.
